Restaurant Review |

Cafe Gallery is a long time Burlington restaurant landmark that is known for its excellent Sunday brunch and outdoor dining with a beautiful view of the Delaware River and landscaped gardens This is not a destination restaurant unless you are seeking out a scenic outdoor dining experience, or to enjoy an excellent Sunday brunch. By Burlington standards, this is one of the best fine dining restaurants in the area. By New Jersey standards, the quality of food falls below par. The menu is traditional Continental. Located at the foot of High Street in the historical section of Burlington, the building dates back to the Federalist period. There are two floors of dining rooms that feature large window views of the riverfront as well as views of the brick outdoor dining terrace with an attractive fountain and beautifully landscaped grounds. The work of local artists are displayed throughout the restaurant. Whether seated upstairs or down, the tables are well spaced with comfortable chairs. The interior though is in dire need of renovation and painting. The wait staff at Cafe Gallery is attentive and friendly.
