Re-opened since the fire destroyed it in 2010, it has since been renovated with the small dining roomdone up with dark wood molding, cheerful red and yellow walls; and tables set with red-checked vinyl tablecloths. It has an "old time" ambience with posters of advertisements from a bygone era,. There is no background music, just a nice welcoming place. No frills here.
Each table has a caddy of sauces including two types of hot sauce, ketchup, and four types of barbecue sauce. The four barbecue sauces are Delta with a bit of heat; Carolina, a vinegar based sauce also with a touch of heat; Kansas City, which is a sweet bbq sauce XXX, which is the flaming hot barbecue sauce.
They are open for lunch & dinner Sunday Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 11:30 to 9pm, Saturday - 11:30 to 10pm with full table service at dinner. During the lunch hours, customers order at the counter.
