Axelsson's Blue Claw Restaurant is a long time Cape May seafood restaurant that offers well prepared fresh seafood. good service, and an attractive atmosphere.
Most of the diners are aged 50+.
Located on the bay with marina views, the dining rooms at Axelsson's have a "Clubby" nautical theme with wood-paneled rooms, and candlelit tables that look out across a nearby marina.
But the main reason to come to Axlesson's is for the excellent seafood fare and good service. Sea food is fresh and locally caught.
Axelsson's Blue Claw is also one of the few fine dining restaurants in Cape May that includes a house salad and vegetables with your dinner menu selection.
They also have an attractive bar and a good selection of cocktails, wines and beer, so come early and listen to the piano music while you enjoy the sunset and your pre-dinner cocktail.
There is plenty of on-site parking available.
Open year round. During the Summer they are open 7 Days/ week for dinner beginning at 5 p.m.
