It was great!! It took place on a beautiful weekend in Deerfield Twp.,in the pretty town of Rosenhayn, NJ. Held at Deerfield Fire Company's large, grassy, open lot, it had live music most all day of Saturday & Sunday October 11 & 12, 2008. (It actually started on Friday evening, Oct.10, but I did not attend that night.)

More than 250 of the nation’s most accomplished craftspeople, as well as renowned artisans from New Jersey, will display and sell their handmade works at the 15th annual Sugarloaf Crafts Festival in Somerset. Visitors will enjoy a wide variety of contemporary crafts and fine art in all mediums, including functional and decorative pottery, sculpture, glass, jewelry, fashion, furniture, home accessories, and photography.
Dozens of specialty food purveyors will offer delectable confections and gourmet creations for sample and purchase.
Visitors can learn how Sugarloaf artisans make their one-of-a-kind treasures during live demonstrations of metal spinning, glassblowing, furniture painting, and pottery making. Interactive children’s entertainment will be provided by Middle Earth Studios. The show will also feature live music by pianists Bob Geresti and Ngu Mbandi.

Live demonstrations of copper spinning, wheel-thrown pottery, and stone carving by Sugarloaf’s master craftspeople will give craft lovers a look at how they create their work.

St. Thomas the Apostle Byzantine Catholic Church in Rahway NJ announces their Flea Market and Craft Sale for Saturday, December 13,2008.
The Flea Market & Craft Sale will be open from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, with vendor access starting at 7:30 am. They are held in the parish center located at 1407 St.Georges Ave. Rahway. This handicap accessible center can accommodate up to 55 vendors at each market. Every December attendee will receive a free raffle ticket for a Holiday turkey.
Our kitchen will be open for both breakfast and lunch, and features homemade ethnic specialties such as stuffed cabbage, kielbasa and kraut subs and pirohi, as well as taylor ham and egg sandwiches.

The show is held rain or shine from 10-5pm and is free to the public.
