Are Emotional Support Animals allowed on the beach in Long Beach island?

(Montvale, NJ)

We will be in Long Beach island this summer and would like to know if we are allowed to bring our ESA dog on the beach.

Reply: The regulations prohibit dogs on the beach, however, though they are silent on the use of ESA dogs.

Suggest you contact the Long Beach Township municipality at (609) 361-1000to get an accurate reading on this .

ESA allowed on beach
by: Anonymous

We had our dog on the beach in Brant Beach. He was wearing his ESA vest and I had my paperwork. The beach badge patrol said it was fine.
