2nd ANNUAL HARBORFEST, CAPE MAY, NJ JUNE 20, 2009

2ND ANNUAL HARBORFEST BEING HELD JUNE 20TH FROM 10 AM - 5 PM. STREET FESTIVAL WITH OVER 100 VENDORS BRINGING SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE. THERE WILL BE NUMEROUS FOOD VENDORS, BEER GARDEN AND A FAMILY DINING AREA. MUSIC WILL BE GOING ALL DAY.

THE US COAST GUARD WILL BE PERFORMING AN AIR-TO-SEA RESCUE, A KAYAK REGATTA, NUMEROUS FREE EVENTS FOR CHILDREN INCLUDING ART & CRAFTS, LAB GAB, TOUCH TANK, AND CRABBING DEMO.

ON FRIDAY, JUNE 19TH THERE WILL BE A BLESSING OF THE WATERS AND A REMEMBRANCE FOR CREW MEMBERS LOST ON THE LADY MARY, WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE FISHERMAN'S MEMORIAL.

THIS WILL BE FOLLOWED BY AN ARTIST RECEPTION AT THE NATURE CENTER. THREE ARTISTS WILL BE DISPLAYING THEIR WORK: STEVE SPAGNOLA, JANE PAYNE AND TINA GIAIMO.

ALSO, AT THE NATURE CENTER AFTER THE BLESSING WILL BE STORY TELLING AROUND THE CAMPFIRE, WHILE TOASTING MARSHMALLOWS.
