Our distribution center will be transformed into a casino.
The Rat Pack Tribute Show and Joe Conklin will entertain us while we dine at an array of restaurants and enjoy an open bar.
In South Jersey more than 175,000 people are living in food insecure households. More than 60,000 are children and more than 20,000 are seniors. If not for the work of the Food Bank of South Jersey and our many partners, many of them would go hungry.
Since 1985, the Food Bank of South Jersey has been the primary food resource for the hundreds of charitable food pantries and food kitchens in South Jersey. Our unique public and private partnerships with industry leaders has enabled us to provide more than 175 million pounds of food which is equivalent to 6.7 million “filled to the rim” grocery bags to thousands of people in need in South Jersey.
This gala is one of the many ways, the Food Bank of South Jersey raises the necessary funding to continue its work. The proceeds from this event will go towards our “No kid hungry in South Jersey” programs which provides food and nutrition services to needy children in elementary and middle school. It will also serve to benefit our “no senior hungry in South Jersey”so that seniors no longer have to make the difficult choice of whether to pay for medicine or to pay for food.

The summer will uncork in grand style when 18 of New Jersey's finest wineries join together for the "Washington Lake Park Wine Festival" on June 22 - 23 from 12 noon - 5 pm each day. Produced by GPS, Inc. this weekend of great New Jersey wine, local culinary treats, fabulous live music, hand-made artisan crafts and kids activities is the right way to "sip into summer." Live performances by The Gas House Gorillas on Saturday and The Funktion on Sunday. Tickets for the "Washington Lake Park Wine Festival" can be purchased in advance at a discounted rate of $15 and at the gate for $20. Spectators and those under 21 are free. This Two day event will showcase a large gathering of Home-Garden & Lawn Equipment companies representing hundreds of products and services for today's home owners.
There will be everything from landscaped gardens to cooking demonstrations. Shop from rows and rows of craftsmen, enjoy great music and food when visiting the Summertime Home & Craft Fest Located in the Rolling farmland of Salem County and just minutes from Cowtown and the Delaware Memorial Bridge.
Saturday will feature an all breed dog parade and Sunday at 2:00pm will be the Little Miss Summertime Pageant for girls 4-7 years old. The College of New Jersey Department of Music is proud to present “Shadows,” performed by The College of New Jersey Wind Ensemble and conducted by Mr. David Vickerman, Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Bands. A fervent advocate for contemporary music, Mr. Vickerman has conducted numerous premieres, including four premieres with Great Noise Ensemble, a ballet with Ballet Fantastique, and two separate pieces that he commissioned for winds and electronics. The concert program for “Shadows” includes Karel Husa’s Music for Prague 1968, Joel Puckett’s Shadow of Sirius, and Viet Cuong’s Sound and Smoke. In addition, the concert will feature a special guest performer, Mr. David DiGiacobbe, TCNJ Director of Flute Studies and Principal Flutist of both the Harrisburg Symphony and Lancaster Symphony Orchestra in Pennsylvania.

Rock Salt Family Comedy Show outrageously funny and highly addictive, it’s cheap, and best of all, the whole family unit will enjoy themselves.
Not stand-up, not shock theatre, not musicals, not dramas, not concerts---not like anything you have ever seen before. Family comedy is essentially a situation where people actually take the time to create an original show that is a hit with just about any age group, but safe. Safe for your kids to see. Safe where you don’t have to worry about being embarrassed by a comedian.
This is a show that you, your kids, your teens and even your parents will love. Of course we won’t force you to sit with your family when you get there, but you won’t be able to hide from them either because our intimate space has excellent seats. No nosebleeds at our place.
Ok, so how many events can you name that boast that everyone in the family will enjoy it? Not many. Well, not many that offer ticket prices as cheaply as we do that’s for sure.
So that is our other claim. We are cheap. New Jersey is expensive, and a day out with the family shouldn’t cost more than someone’s college tuition.
Rock Salt goes out of it’s what to keep the production own budget low, so we can keep ticket prices even lower.
We believe wholeheartedly that it IS possible to make you laugh hysterically and continuously without wasting oodles of money.
We are a volunteer group. And don’t you be suspicious; volunteer doesn’t mean unprofessional in our book. Our teams of performers go through years of training in our specialized form of comedy and are absolute masters of their craft. No one designs family comedy shows like we do.
